Casa La Calera, May 2025
The location is stunning, high up on the southern edge of Teba and with probably the best views of anywhere I've stayed. Casa La Calera itself has an amazing outdoor space with a large patio and pool, tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast outdoors, and a seating area and 'honesty bar' at the highest end with just about any drink you're likely to want... just choose your spot and appreciate that view!Erik and Natascha are so nice, felt like old friends inside of about 5 minutes of meeting them, and they've done a great job of putting their personal touch on La Calera in the short time they've been running the place. My apartment 4 was pristine and comfortable, and I opted for having an evening meal and also breakfast - both were delicious.Teba itself is in an ideal location for exploring this part of Andalusia; close to El Chorro and the Caminito del Rey, with Ronda less than an hour south-west and Antequera around the same distance east with its megalithic dolmens and El Torcal natural park, to mention just a few of the many places worth a visit. Teba even has its own Castillo de la Estrella with links to Robert the Bruce and the Douglas clan. Highly recommended!!

Een geweldige plek in Zuid Spanje. Het uitzicht over de vallei mooi en rustgevend. Ontbijt verrassend en heerlijk. Het ligt in een sterpunt met aan alle kanten bezienswaardigheden. Bedankt voor de fijne tijd en alle tips.We zouden zo weer gaan.

VIEWS, VIEWS, VIEWS
Oh my goodness THE VIEEEWWS!!!! Honestly this has to have the BEST views of any place we have ever stayed at ( and we stay in alot!) It almost feels like you are above the clouds as it's so quiet and high up with 360° views it literally takes your breath away. The outside area is all with these wonderful views. It has lots of terraces and different areas to relax or eat a meal that you have prepared yourself in the studio accommodation . The pool is clean and a really good size . There are x4 studios - 2 at the front with these wonderful views and 2 at the back ( without the views) but despite staying in one of the back ones we didn't feel we missed out too much as it's just up a few steps and there it is! The studios are modern and clean with a kitchen that is well equipped enough to cook homemade meals to enjoy on the terrace. The air conditioning is nice and cold! The owners need a special mention as they are so super friendly and attentive , yet respectful of our privacy and they are full of wonderful tips on things to see and do in the area. There is private parking on the site directly outside the property with secure gates. We are planning to return one day and book the two front studios with my adult boys as I know they'd love it! Een echte aanrader!
Een echte aanrader!Wat een prachtige plek om te verblijven. Een adembenemend mooi uitzicht, met heerlijke zitjes/ligbedden op verschillende plekken. Helaas was het weer niet heel erg bijzondere en hebben we jammer genoeg geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. De appartementen zijn gezellig ingericht, zijn fris en schoon en zien er verzorgd uit.Patrick en Yvonne zijn enthousiast en behulpzaam en geven je handige tips voor leuke uitstapjes. En tot slot…het ontbijt is royaal, divers en heerlijk!

De locatie en de verzorging zijn werkelijk uniek. Het uitzicht is adembenemend mooi. En onze gastheer Patrick was onuitputtelijk om ons te vertellen wat er in de omgeving te doen en te zien is. One of a kind.

An incredible stay!
Excellent service and prices, spotless rooms and very friendly owners. Very informative information and directions for days out from owners. Only 5 minutes walk into Teba from Casa La Calera. Could not ask for more. Thank you for an incredible stay.
